Long Mountain Lodge is located on the southwest slope of Long Mountain and has mountain views to the North, South and West. Elevation of the Lodge is approximately 2,000 feet. Each of our six rooms offers a view of the mountains. The decor is upscale rustic lodge style. The Great Room features a full two story stone wood-burning fireplace for our guests’ relaxation. Also the lodge has a library/game room for guest use. Breakfast is served by former restaurant owner and chef, Dianne Quigley. Weather permitting breakfast can be served on our screened porch. The front of the Lodge is wrapped by a large sitting porch which affords views of the sun setting over the Blue Ridge Mountains.

There are walking trails on the property to two ponds, our waterfall, and perennial gardens. We are located less than 1/4 mile from the Chattachoohee National Forrest and only 4 miles from the Appalachian Trail at Cooper Gap.
The Historic Dahlonega town square is only a 12 minute drive from the Lodge. Also, within close driving distance are four wineries: Wolf Mountain, Three Sisters, Frogtown, and Blackstock.
Some of our amenities include: Satellite television in each room, wireless computer access, library/game room, great room with fireplace. fireplaces in 5 guest rooms, full breakfast, afternoon snacks, bathrobes, whirlpool tubs in every room, queen beds in all rooms, separate private entrances for 4 rooms, private decks for 2 rooms, private patios for 2 rooms, writing desks, and a phone in the library for guest use.
The owners are also part owners of White Pine Camp in The Adirondacks in upstate NY.
