“This is the place to stay”
Coming from Nashville, this place was a great easy drive for a girls weekend away or family weekend away. Dahlonega has some excellent wineries and is like a young Ashville, NC and has tons of local art, food, antiquing and wine. Where we stayed is about 10-20 min away from the historic square and about that from the wineries. We stayed in the Cabin—the lodge is gorgeous and would stay there if just 2 of us but the cabin allowed us to each have a bed to sleep in. TOTALLY clean, nice, had 2 full bathrooms a fully stocked kitchen (meaning plates and pans), ping-pong table and washer and dryer. The lodge is gorgeous and the food wonderful but we chose the cabin due to being 4 of us. This would also be perfect for a family as they have horseback riding and canoeing and hiking. The price, cleanliness and closeness to everything makes this the best place I have stayed!
